Did you know there are over 1,500 harmful or questionable ingredients making their way into our beauty and skin care products in the US?

The European Union has banned over 1400 of them.
Canada has banned less than 600.
The United States has banned 30.

These harmful ingredients have been linked to cancer, hormone disruption, and developmental toxicity.   

I learned about the harmful ingredients in skincare and makeup products years ago, before I became a health coach. I decided to start swapping everything from shampoo and deodorant…to body lotion and makeup.

I was introduced to Beautycounter in 2016 and I was completely blown away by their mission, their integrity, and their transparency.

They’ve committed to a health and safety standard that goes well beyond what is legally required in the United States. Their Never List™ is made up of more than 1,800 questionable or harmful chemicals that are never used in their products. This includes the over 1,400 chemicals banned or restricted in personal care products by the European Union, plus additional chemicals screened by Beautycounter.
